Precision Cutting

Some of the most common materials that can be cut with laser are: plastics, wood, leather, vinyl and metals. One unique benefit is the high tolerance of .002” on a 4’ x 8’ sheet to produce a “press fit” quality. The speeds at which it can be done range from 30 – 240 inches per minute, depending on thickness and edge quality desired.

When cutting acrylic, the laser will produce a fire polished edge. Cutting wood produces a sharp, clean edge with uniform darkening. A wide variety of solid woods and plywoods, can also be cut. By adjusting the parameters, you can achieve different outcomes with amazing intricate patterns and designs. This process will produce items very quickly with extreme repeatability.
